What is a BuzzShow?
Buzzshow is one of the first social networking video sites to adopt blockchain technology to provide a platform that places the interest of creators, curators and viewers first. Blockchain uses Goldies as a crypto that provides incentives for creating, sharing and viewing videos on BuzzShow. Platform members not only earn as creators of content, but also earn when they share videos and when they view videos. This is the first fully developed social video network that lets everyone get involved in contributing and making money on the platform.
Buzzshow offers a fresh decentralized approach to the online video market that will restore power to the hands of creators, curators, and consumers on the market base. Based on a decentralized book system, in order for the content, curator and consumer community to decide among themselves what value is appropriate for their respective services, without a central party standing up to take most of the profits. This means the opportunity for all users to receive economic rewards every time they sign up, view, upload, recommend or share videos.
This platform intends for us IPFS (InterPlanetary File Sharing) in future releases to ensure its content is completely decentralized. This allows files to be stored without relying on a centralized database as most video sites rely on. As a result, it is not susceptible to DOS attacks or ransomware attacks because the video will be held in many systems. The benefits are faster, more open and more secure than centralized, centralized video encoding methods. This technology is useful for BuzzShow as it allows the platform to be completely decentralized while saving bandwidth costs.
BuzzShow VISION
At present time, small group of digital media corporation are controlling all video content created and published online, mainly Google (via YouTube) and Facebook and most creators who create content either professionally or UGC, are the majority of the time not rewarded for their work.
BuzzShow is a new type of Social Video platform, decentralized and powered by the creators and curators. Video creators are rewarded with Goldies (the currency used in BuzzShow) according to the popularity of their video. A Social Video platform that is decentralized and operated by the people creating and using it,has the potential of becoming the number one video site globally.
As soon as technology has advanced sufficiently, BuzzShow content will be stored de-centrally (e.g. through an IPFS).
Features of Buzzshow
Users on the platform will earn money when they upload their first video on the platform. This is a very simple way of earning Goldies even before the demand on the site grows. They can also earn with every confirmed referral on the site. Once the user registers based on their referral, they also get some Goldies.
Another feature is the ability to create channels and upload a video for free. No paid option offers content creators greater capital opportunities. Everyone starts at the same price, and it is completely free for everyone.
This discourages firms from paying for preferential treatment on the platform. They will support their favorite content creators by sending Goldies. These Goldies will not be charged an outrageous transaction fee like Patreon and other donation platforms, but rather a micro-transaction fee that is near zero. This will ensure that creative content creators get the support they need.
Additionally, content creators can sell access to their content allowing them to earn Goldies if their content is of high quality. Users can access this premium content by paying Goldies they earn on the platform.
Advertisers will be able to pay content creators and curators directly to ensure that the adverts are placed in videos for the right target audience. This is a more effective strategy than the random advertisement placement without any input from the advertiser.
